Dave Cox

Dave Cox has held several roles within Field Hockey Canada from Assistant Coach of the U21 Women’s Team, Head Coach of the U18 Indoor Team, Performance Analyst of the Senior Women’s and Men’s Team and U21 programmes, and GK coach for the U21 and Senior Women’s Team and GK coach for the U21 and Senior Women’s Team.

At the FIH Academy he is an Educator and Level 5 coach. Recently he was part of the staff of the SG Pipers in the India Hockey League that won the 2026 season. He is also the former Assistant Coach of the Barbados Men’s National Team.

Martijn has been providing goalkeeper training all over the world for 35 years. It is not without reason that he is called the Goalie Guru. “Keeping is my passion. I also hope to convey that to the goalkeepers I train and supervise. There is nothing more beautiful than training with enthusiastic goalkeepers who want to get better. Whether I work with David Harte or with a goalkeeper from the C2”, says Martijn, who also guides and advises his goalkeepers off the field. “Whether it’s study, planning or life.”

As a goalkeeping coach, Martijn was active at eight Olympic Games, 10 European Championships, 7 World Cups and 11 Champions Trophies and 2 FIH Proleague. In 2008, Spain won Olympic silver with Quico Cortez, trained by Martijn. In 2012, Martijn accompanied the goalkeepers of the Dutch national team with Jaap Stockmann on goal, which also won Olympic silver. In 2016, Maddie Hinch won gold with the British national team at the Rio Olympics and in 2021 Josine Koning won gold with the Dutch team! At club level, Martijn was involved in 18 national titles and 11 European club titles.

Belen Succi

Belen Succi is a former international goalkeeper and one of the most decorated players in Argentina’s history. She debuted with Las Leonas in 2006 and earned 263 international caps, becoming a cornerstone of the team’s success. Belen  competed in three Olympic Games (2008, 2016, 2020), winning bronze and silver medals.

A World Cup champion in 2010, she retired from international hockey in 2022 after 16 years at the top and nominated for the FIH Goal Keeper of the year in 2022.  Known for her composure and leadership, she now contributes to the game through coaching and mentoring.

Patricia_Wright_Alexis

Patricia Wright-Alexis is a former Trinidad and Tobago National Team captain who played 15 years. She founded IN Sports Field Hockey Academy and coached the T&T Junior Women’s Team. Now based in BC she is the Head Provincial Coach and Performance Manager for FHBC, she is an FIH Educator and Level 3 Coach. She is also the Assistant Coach for the Canadian U16 Nation al Team Tour to Poland.

Sasha Eliott

Sasha Eliott has played for over 18 yrs in The Netherlands and at NCAA Division 1 schools in the U.S. She trained under Martijn Drijver for many years and now with Toronto United FHC and on the squad of the Indoor National Team. She has also coached at Sportways hockey camps and Indiana University.

Amy agullay

Amy Agullay is a former Canadian National Team and U.S. university field hockey goalkeeper recognized for her quick reflexes, poise, and leadership. Known for her strong communication and consistency in goal, Agullay built a reputation as a dependable last line of defense and a respected teammate throughout her playing career. She currently coaches in the junior programme and with the goal keepers at Toronto United FHC.

chloe scheppens

Chloe Schepens has played in the first national open league with KHCL in Belgium and was captain of the team. At the club she also ran several junior development programmes with both the boys and girls.

After moving to Toronto she has worked with the junior teams at Toronto United FHC. She has also assisted with the club’s delivery of the Stick Together programming in partnership with Field Hockey Canada.

Maddie_coach

Maddie grew up playing with the Vancouver Hawks and represented BC before joing the University of Toronto where she won an OUA Championship and Silver Medal at Nationals. She started coaching in high schools and now leads the junior GK programme at Toronto United FHC.

Maxi

Maxi Rott started his field hockey career at THC Munster in Germany where he played and also took on coaching roles for the U17 women’s team and other junior programmes. He played a key role in organizing seven summer camps for the youth divisions. During his time at university Maxi competed with WTHC Wiesden’s senior team in the 2nd Bundesliga. He has served as Assistant Coach for the Queens University Varsity team and junior coach for Toronto United FHC.
